Fun Grant Recipients

A Fun Grant can be whatever a child’s heart desires. One little girl wanted to meet Scooby-Doo, and she got to do that at the Great Escape Lodge in Lake George! Some children like to attend an event or go to a place they used to visit with their lost loved-one, like a hockey game or shopping in New York City. Getting a gift that a parent promised but was unable to give has helped some of our kids heal. One young lady finally got the puppy that her dad always wanted her to have, and a young man got a game system that helps him remember his mom. One teen used his fun grant to help buy a guitar because he used to make sweet music with his dad. Making memories and smiling again is at the heart of what we do!
